BroadBand Light (BBL) is an IPL (Intense Pulse Light) device by Sciton. This device uses light energy to improve overall skin tone and clarity. The light energy will gently heat the upper layers of your skin. The heat absorbed by the targeted areas will stimulate your skin cells to regenerate new collagen. This process will restore your skin to its natural beauty, blending its natural colors and making it smoother, vibrant and younger looking.

The most popular treatments are on the face, neck, back of the hands, chest and shoulders.
BBL HERO is a noninvasive and gentle procedure with virtually no downtime. In most cases, you are able to return to work, apply makeup, and resume most of your activities immediately. During the treatment, the device flashes specialized light as it is quickly moved across the treatment area. Each flash of light produces a feeling of warmth, but is easily tolerated without the need for topical anesthetic. The pigment is initially darkened, helping you know that you had an optimal treatment. Within the next several days, your body’s natural healing process will remove the pigmented cells and replace them with fresh, new, undamaged cells.
Most patients see results in 2-4 weeks; however, this will depend on the individual and the area being treated. It is important that you wear a physical sunscreen and limit your sun exposure 2 weeks before and after your treatment. Patients can see results from a single treatment. However, the number of treatments will depend on the severity of your pigmentation. A typical patient requires two to four treatments.
